MISSION IDEAS: CITY

Hello Agents, 

Now that you have an idea of what your CITY or town looks like and who lives there, maybe you've come up with some ideas of your own on how to best serve your city.  Don't forget, we have tools and resources to help you get your missions organized here.  Here are a couple of ideas we've come up with at the TST Agency:

  • Bake something yummy and take it to your local police station, firehouse, city hall, library, etc. with a thank you card or drawing telling them why you appreciate what they do in your town.  
  • Organize a park clean-up day with a group of Junior Agents.
  • Ask the leaders at your city hall if there are specific service projects that need to be done around the city and see if you might be able to help organize a way to get them done.  
  • Do a bake sale, lemonade stand, or other fundraiser and donate your proceeds to the fallen firefighters fund or fallen police officers fund.  
  • Go through books that you might be through with and donate them to the local "Friends of the Library" bookstore.
  • See if your local library has after school tutoring that you could serve at to help other students in your city.
  • When you're at a local park, playground, beach, etc. pick up trash and put it in a trashcan when you see it.  
  • Write a story highlighting someone special in your community and submit it to the local newspaper or magazine.
  • Does your city/town have trails that need help getting cleared?  If so, ask your Senior Agent if you can gather a group of Junior Agents to help with this task.
  • Organize a group of kids to sing Christmas Carols at the local Senior Center or at an elderly care facility.  
  • Ask your parents about the idea of "adopting a family" in town for Christmas or for something else.  Come up with ways to make their Christmas special or serve the needs of their family.  
  • Organize a food or toy drive in town for your local food bank.
